Katie Steffen, MMSC, PA-C
Katie was born in Florida and moved to Georgia at the age of 1. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia, where she pitched for the varsity softball team for 3 years. She completed her medical training at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating with highest honors from the physician assistant program with a Master’s degree in medical science. She was one of only seven students in her class to be inducted into Pi Alpha, the national honor Society for physician assistants (PAs). She was also inducted into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi, recognizing the top 10% of the graduating class. Her graduate capstone project was selected to be recognized at the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA) conference in 2016. Katie is a member of AAPA, GAPA, ACC, and currently lives in Brookhaven with her husband, Troy.
